Dobcross Family Trail set (incl. Notebook & Pen)

£7.50

We think this would be ideal for family “bubbles” wishing to take part in a walk combining historical and cultural interest with moderate exercise outdoors. This trail is particularly family friendly, since the elderly could easily cut out the short top loop on the trail, and wait in the square for the rest of the group. Allow 2 to 3 hours if you want to spot everything in your guide.

The 2 mile circular trail begins, and ends, at the former Brownhill Visitor Centre, now The Limekiln Café, Wool Road, OL3 5PB. The Limekiln is open 10 am to 4 pm for take-away drinks and sandwiches from 27th to 31st January.

This product combines a Dobcross Local Interest Trail by booklet (with map) by the Saddleworth Historical Society, a quality notebook and a unique Saddleworth Museum ball pen.

  • One Dobcross trail booklet opening out to a 17″ x 23″ 2 sided “information centre” with route map, images and detailed historical information about the 11 most significant  features on the trail.
